  • Minors - Young riders must be accompanied by an adult on a bicycle and riding with them.
  • Routes Use Public Roads - All routes, other than the Family Fun Ride, are on public roadways. Riders must observe ALL traffic signs, signals, and state and municipal laws and ordinances related to cyclists.  Ride Safe, Ride Smart, and Share The Road!
  • Emergency - In case of emergency, call 911.  You can subsequently call the Tour de Tulsa support number, 539-629-8097, to alert us. The support number is printed on your ride wristband. If you don't have a phone, flag down another rider or Tour de Tulsa support vehicle.
  • Support Number - The support number is printed on your ride wristband, but put the number in your cell phone too:  539-629-8097 .
  • Weather - The ride proceeds rain or shine with the exception of severe weather in progress or imminent.  The start may be delayed and longer routes may be eliminated in the event of active thunderstorms. Up-to-date weather information will be provided on the Tour de Tulsa webpage, Facebook page, and via emails to registered riders. We've all seen the weather break and rides proceed, so be an optimist ... doni't cancel your ride from home.
Ride-Day Bib(Ride-Number), wristband, and T-shirt Pickup - Ride-day pickup of bibs, wristbands, and t-shirts begins at 7:00 am in the start-finish area. Look for signage to be sure you get in the right line.

Ride-Day Registration
 - Ride-day registration begins at 7:00 am in the start-finish area.

Ride Start Times - Distance Riders start at 8:00 am.  Family Fun Riders start at 8:15 am.

Start-Finish Area - The start-finish area is located at the southwest corner of River West Festival Park, just inside the park entrance.  The official address for River West Festival Park is 2100 S Jackson Ave, Tulsa, OK. Click here for a Google map of River West Festival Park location.  See an aerial view of the start/finish area later on this page.

  • Ride-day bib (ride number), wristband, and t-shirt pickup and ride-day registration will be located in the start-finish area.
  • Pre-ride snacks and post-ride salads, sandwiches, and more will be available in the "big tent" north of the registration area.
  • The removable tab on your wristband is good for a cold adult beverage in the Feed Zone Café (the "big tent") at ride's end!
  • Portable toilets are located east of the registration area.
  • Bike Shops provide mechanical support in the registration area.

Parking - Ample parking is available at River West Festival Park.  Please park fully within a single marked parking spot.  Other parking opportunities are available in the lot south of the river bridge on the west bank; just a short ride from there to the start-finish area on the West Bank Trail. Parking is also available along Riverside Drive on the east bank of the Arkansas, also just a short ride from the start-finish area by bike path.  See a graphic of the start-finish area and parking opportunities later on this page.

Riders are encouraged to ride to the ride freeing up parking space for out-of-area riders and avoiding the need to locate a parking spot.
NOTE that parking in the southeast corner of River West is reserved for River Parks staff and Tour de Tulsa volunteers.  The area will be  marked and controlled by a parking attendant.

Route Markings - All routes are marked on the roadway or signed along the right-of-way.  Be aware of these markings and points where the various route distances diverge.

The markings outside the City of Tulsa are circular with a line extending out from the circle in the direction the route takes at that point.  They are also marked as TdT and have the route distance indicated. Here are examples of what to look for ...

The markings in the City of Tulsa include large arrow-shaped stickers on the street surface and/or signage on the right-of-way. We are not allowed to paint on the roadway or paths within the city.

Maps - No printed maps or cue sheets will be available, so print a hard copy at home from Ride With GPS if you want to navigate "old school."  Riders are encouraged to utilize the Ride With GPS smartphone app or download the GPX files from the Tour de Tulsa website to load on their GPS device.  See route maps and downloadable versions on the Tour de Tulsa web page.  PDFs of all routes are available on the Tour de Tulsa web page.  And you can link directly to event maps on Ride With GPS here: Tour de Tulsa 2026, RWGPS Link . Join the event on Ride With GPS and you'll be able to get turn-by-turn directions along the route using the RWGPS smartphone app.

Route You Elect To Ride - Please ride a route that is appropriate for your fitness level regardless of the route length you indicated on your registration.  On-road support will end at 4:00 pm; please plan your ride accordingly.  No rest stops or SAG/Mechanical support will be provided after 4:00 pm.

Late Finishers - You may elect to continue your ride after official support ends. However, you'll be asked to sign a form indicating that you understand that no services will be available for the remainder of your ride, and we will verify your Emergency Contact information and ask you to contact them to let them know of your decision to continue riding without support. We would like you to contact the Ride Support Number once you've completed your ride or arrived home, just to let us know that you completed your day safely. We will reach out to the individual identified as your Emergency Contact if we've not heard from you by early evening. Our "Lanterne Rouge" team will wait for late finishers at the start-finish to celebrate their ride completion and provide you with food and drink.

Rest Stops
 - Rest stops are provided at frequent intervals on all rides, including the Family Fun Ride. Water, snacks, and portable toilets are available at all rest stops.  Adequate hydration is important on any ride and especially if the temperature is warm.  Take advantage of the snacks to keep yourself fueled for the distance.

NOTE:  Each rest stop is supplied with a floor pump, multitool, and minimal bicycle repair supplies.  Don't hesitate to ask to use them.

Emergencies During The Ride
 - Find a rider with a phone and dial 911 first!  Then contact the Tour de Tulsa ride-day support number at 539-629-8097 and explain your situation.  Be sure to move off the roadway and assure the safety of any injured riders.  Members of the Tulsa Amateur Radio Club, TARC, are patrolling the route and their vehicles will have identifying signage.  Flag one of them down for assistance.  Similarly, mechanical SAGS are cruising the routes and can be flagged down to assist.  "Signal" your need for help by tapping the top of your helmet with an open hand.  First aid kits are available at all rest stops and from SAG drivers for treatment of minor cuts and scrapes.

SAG Service During The Ride
 - If you need mechanical or other non-emergency assistance during your ride, including if you need a ride back to the start-finish area, call the Tour de Tulsa support number at 539-629-8097 or flag down one of the Tour de Tulsa support vehicles.  Move completely off the roadway or path while waiting for assistance.  Tom's Bicycles and Spoke House Bicycles will be patrolling the ride routes in addition to the Tulsa Amateur Radio Club SAG vehicles. A common signal for those needing support is to stand at the roadside and pat the top of your helmet as a SAG vehicle approaches.

"Lantern Rouge" Riders (late-day finishers and leisurely riders)
 - Riders who lag significantly behind may be asked to SAG ahead or SAG to the start-finish area.  Ride support will not be provided to any riders still on any of the routes after 4:00 pm.  Riders who wish to continue riding beyond the 4:00 pm support cut-off will be asked to sign a waiver indicating that they recognize they are on their own without support for the remainder of their ride and contact their emergency contact to let them know as well. We would appreciate a call to the ride support number when you complete your ride. If we don't hear from you by early evening, we will contact the Emergency Contact you designated on your registration. We want to be sure that you arrive home safely.

Weather
- The Tour de Tulsa will proceed rain or shine with the exception of severe weather in progress or imminent.  The start may be delayed in the event of passing showers at ride start time.  If necessary, the ride start time will be delayed until 9:00 am and the 100-mile route will be eliminated.  A second start delay until 10:00 am will result in elimination of the 60 mile route.  If severe weather is still occurring at 10 am, the ride will be cancelled.  NOTE: this is a charity ride benefiting Tulsa's River Parks.  NO REFUNDS are made in the event the ride must be cancelled.

Start-Finish Area, Parking, Rider Staging

The site plan below shows the start-finish area and the staging/starting location for both distance riders and Family Fun Riders.

Start-Finish Area for the Tour de Tulsa

Ride Start Time: Distance riders start at 8:00 am; Family Fun Riders depart at 8:15 am.  Family riders will have time to watch the distance riders start their ride.  Then Family riders should assemble on the path area north and east of the registration tents. Signage will mark the start for the Family Fun Ride.

Packet Pickup: Pre-registered riders can pick up their bib numbers, and t-shirt, in the registration area.

Rider registration: Day-of-ride registration will be available starting at 7:00 AM on May 2nd in the start-finish area. Look for signage.

Mechanical Assistance: Tom's Bicycles and Spoke House Bicycles will be available in the start-finish area if your bike needs last minute attention by a pro.

Portable Toilets: Portable toilets are available east of the registration area.

Feed Zone Café: A large 40' x 40' tent, the "big tent," with tables and chairs is available for riders just behind registration.  Before the ride start you can get a bagel, banana, or orange and a cup of coffee.  There will also be water available.=

Post-ride fuel - Following your ride, come back to the Feed Zone Café, the "big tent," for a sandwich, salad, lemonade, cola, or brew from Dead Armadillo Craft Brewing (must present wristband tab for a brewski). Relax and help celebrate riders as they finish their ride.

Photos: Don't forget to have photos taken with the Tour de Tulsa logo and the Tulsa cityscape in the background. Grab one of the signs to hold in your photo with the distance you rode or a catchy saying.

Body Work: Vitality Therapy and Performance will have staff on hand after the ride if you need to have a few kinks worked out.  Make use of the "tip jar" to let these folks know we appreciate their participation in our event.

PARKING:  Plenty of parking is available within River West Festival Park and and in the River Parks lot south of 23rd Street.  There is also parking along the east bank of the Arkansas River and a large lot at 17th and Riverside.  See the aerial view below. Be considerate of other riders and park entirely in a single parking space.  The parking area at the east end of River West, near the maintenance building and boat house, is reserved for park staff and ride volunteers.  Please don't park in this area.

Rider Staging: Distance riders should "hang out" at the circle drive, listen to the music, and enjoy the party atmosphere. Overflow should stage down the south side of the parking area (see site plan). The start line is at the entrance to River West Festival Park and is indicated by a large "START" feather banner. Riders will be led from the park in a neutral start until they  reach 21st Street. Relax and enjoy this short pedal down 23rd street and over the bridge.

Family Fun Riders will have time to watch the longer distance riders start, then stage on the wide promenade northeast of the registration area. The start line is identified by a sign on the right side of the walk.  The Family Fun Ride is entirely on trails, the West Bank River Trail and the Cherry Creek Trail.  So relax, enjoy the ride, and don't crowd other cyclists.  The pace will be leisurely and KIDS MUST RIDE WITH THERE ACCOMPANYING ADULT.  This is a "fun" ride, not a race.  Tulsa Bicycle Club members will be riding along with the Fun riders to ensure everyone has a good time, rides safely, and to answer any questions you may have along the way.  A rest stop is available with water and snacks at the Cherry Creek Lift Station parking area.  This is the turnaround point for the shorter family route. Longer distance family riders will continue on the Cherry Creek Trail for a turnaround at Philpot Park.  See the Family Fun Ride maps to familiarize yourself with the route.
